The officer in the video is Deputy Buck Aldridge of Camden County Sheriff's Office. In this 2023 incident, he shot and killed driver Leonard Cure after a struggle during a traffic stop. Aldridge was cleared, as the shooting was deemed justified. However, in August 2025, he was federally indicted for excessive force in four other cases and falsifying reports, and relieved of duties.
